I should mention that while I think the SDR14 is great for monitoring 
a spectrum (in waterfall mode), I don't use it as a general purpose 
receiver. My NRD 545 is much better for that task. Which is why the 
sound distortion problem under Parallels doesn't bothers me - I never 
use it that way ;-)
