hello yls es oms,

after the last fieldday with a lot of qsos, I decided to modify the
MLDX_DB.fp6 for my own purposes. Maybe, some of you will also find it
useful. So have look on it (download at http://homepage.mac.com/
wmahlke/FileSharing2.html).

have a nice holiday

This utility is only useful, if you want more layout freedom for you
QSL cards, then the maclogger already has build in, or if you wants
to make changes to your log.dat datbase with filemmaker.

The MLDX_DB.fp6 is a free addon from Dogpark Software Ltd. (http://
dogparksoftware.com/MacLoggerDXDB.html). I just did 2 things to it:
1st - a QSL-printing layout: You may import your data from log.dat or
usercallbook.dat. Please check the correlation between the record
names on your first import. Then you may select the wanted records
with all the possible filemaker options. Switch to the QSL layout and
print your data on a blank back of your QSL cards. If you have
correct "mycalls", you may use the MLDX_DB_utilCall.fp6 for different
QTHs like DF1GW or DF1GW/p.
2nd - a log.dat export: normally I set the qsl out field with the
maclogger by exporting the qsl. I ignore the export file and just
import the log.dat to this utility. I search for the qsl out date
using filemaker and print my qsl. After this I will not use the data
anymore with the filemaker. but if you have made changes to the data
with this utility, you may export all your data back to log.dat. But
you must be sure, to have the field description in the first record,
like it is just after import. Please, be very careful with this
option and do not work with backup copies of your datas.

MLDX_DB_util.fp6 main database, start this with doubleclick
MLDX_DB_utilCall.fp6 help database
for use with filemaker vers. 5 or higher.
