I also use a similar setup.  I have a Roland M-12E 12 Channel rack 
mount mixer.  The rigs and computers all feed into it and the output is 
to a Sounds Sweet speaker.  I use the amp output to send audio to the 
Mac's input.  There are also a number of other cool things you can do 
with a setup that includes a mixer.
