[Ham-Mac] Interface problems and audio output impedances.

I do not think Dick, AA5VU is correct about the audio output impedances 
of transceivers being normally 600Ω.  My IC706 Mk11G has an output 
impedance of 4.7kΩ as the TS-570.  My Yaesu FT-817 has a data output 
impedance of 10kΩ.
Whilst appreciating the problem I note in interface ideas by K4ABT  
(Bux Bitz and Bytez) use is made of step up / step down audio 
transformers. Another suggestion to lower the impedance of the TS-570 
might be to use an emitter follower stage to obtain a better match.
