[Ham-Linux] Ubuntu and Me

    Roger, I did this command, but I suspect there must be something 
else I need to do to get the Synaptic. I got no error messages doing it, 
so I assume it was correct, but then how do I access this new area? 
Remember, you're talking to a complete novice at this - you can bet if 
it's real simple, I've missed it!
