[Ham-Linux] LINUX and Core Duo processor

Yes, I have kernel 2.6.18-4-686 running on an Intel Core 2 Duo T7100. 
I have some "laptop challenges" but the processor is happy.

Hmmm...  I never tried booting from a second disk so this is shooting 
from the hip, but...  Windows should be installed first.  When you 
install Linux, put the boot loader in the MBR of the first (boot) disk.

I like Debian stable but I won't claim it's the best for everybody.
