Go to the library and take a thumb drive with you. Use their wide band
connection to download to the thumb drive. Take it home and load on
your machine. You do have a USB port don't you. My library only allows
1 hour use of their computers but that was enough time to download XP
service pack 2 for 64 bit XP. I had tried to do it at home but it
always failed overnight. And Microsludge wouldn't let me buy it on a
cd. Said it had to be downloaded.
That's what I used to do when i had only a modem connection. Good luck
with it.
