[Ham-Computers] Windows Update Problem Net Framework 1

OS is W2K.  I have a security update for Microsoft .Net 1.1 SP1 that won't 
install.  At the time it came in, there were some other updates as well and they 
all installed OK.  Can someone tell me how to delete whatever keeps trying to 
get me to install this (and keeps the flaming globe in the system tray)?  I 
could then manually download and install the offending update.

Second question.  Add/Remove Programs shows .Net 1.1, .Net 1.1 Hotfix, and 
.Net 2.0 SP1 as being installed.  Should I (or the system) have uninstalled 1.1 
before installing 2.0?
