I have been trying for about a month now to get my two new Maxtor 500 GB 
drives installed in a computer and have had no success up to this point.

I tried the Silicon Image SBT-SRD2 (TWO of them ~ both bad) with no luck. 
The first one was defective out of the box and the second one would only 
work with one drive attached.

Now, I am looking at a Sans Digital MS2U+, which is a external enclosure for 
two SATA drives and it uses a USB interface.

My question: Has anyone used a similar device (SATA to USB) and what was 
their experience?

Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated!
