If you have problems with Gene's MBR repair suggestion, I have used
BootitNG from Terabyte to fix the MBR after converting from a dual
boot setup to just Windows. Before using it, the computer didn't
seem to know a hard drive was there - pretty spooky. You download
the application, make a boot floppy and use it for the fix. It's a
freeby. If you need it, I'll send some additional info on
downloading and using it - this coming week as I'll be gone this weekend.
