[Ham-Computers] Network/Virus problem?

True.  One co-worker was nearly canned for his computer bing inundated with
spam, pop-ups, images, links, et cetera from "those sites".  I know for a
fact that he never went near anything remotely related, but other sites
poured it into his computer.  Sometimes I go to a page and hear my hard
drive cranking away while I'm just reading something.  Soon, I find porn
links on my desktop, in my favorites, quick-launch bar, start-menu, even
.exe's downloaded and executed, files, folders...  Not what one would expect
while reading about electrical codes, home gardening or some-such.
