Hi Phil,

Thanks for sharing your experience with the ATT-Yahoo software.

I too, have been tempted to use their free Internet package instead of
individual applications.  But I had a similar experience with Norton
AV (the program out of the box), and replaced it with Grisoft's
AntiVirus which I'd been using on my laptop for a year without a
hitch.  I checked the Norton site, and found a file that will REMOVE
EVERYTHING that has to do with Norton AV.  That's probably what you
needed to avoid what you went through.  I haven't heard a peep from
Norton in months.

Reading about your experience reinforces my thought that - as tempting
as the ATT - Yahoo package is - I'll stick with my individual
applications for AV and Firewall.
