[Ham-Computers] Moving programs to a new computer

Hi all, I bought a family member a new computer for Christmas, lucky person 
huh!!

The old computer is running Win Millennium and the new one has Win XP, is 
there a program that I download from somewhere that will put whatever is on 
the old puter to the new puter.

Might be a problem, with the different operating systems?
