Except that Duane has some very valid reasons (some specific software for
screen reading - his is completely blind) that make upgrades problematic. I
don't know if B vs A would be a problem or not, but suffice it to say, he's
VERY leery of needless upgrades, as they tend to cost him thousands of $$$.
Recommending B vs A is pretty pointless, he could get way more bang for the
buck by going to Win2k (next to no cost for the software now that XP is
ubiquitous) - except for all his programs that won't run on it.

All M$ code is defective, Win98A is just more defective than Win98B. the
solution is to upgrade to the next version.
That was the M$ solution to lots of Win98A problems at the time as well.
Should be able to find some surplus legal Win98B CDs out there.
