[Ham-Computers] DVD Drive Shortage

Anyone know why mass marketers like Best Buy and Micro Center (both of which 
have stores here which is why I checked them first) suddenly versus a month 
ago have virtually no internal DVD R/W drives?  A month ago, they both had 6 or 
7 different brands available.
