That's true, but I didn't say/recommend using EasyCD/Media as a backup 
utility.  The only portion of it that I install and use turns the CD/DVDRW drive 
into something that the OS sees as just another (removable media) drive.  Unless 
(a) the CD/DVD drive is never going to be used for anything other than backups 
(and the backup utility knows how to write to it without OS help) or (b) the 
backup utility loads at boot time and turns the CD/DVD drive into just another 
drive as EasyCD does.
