Jimmie,

Before you spend hundreds of dollars on a "maybe", why not experiment with
various screen combinations employing size and type of text font, changing
the background color and foreground colors, adjust the focus and contrast
etc. There are a number of software programs available as "ShareWare",
generally at little, if any, cost. You may discover this does what you need
Jimmie.

Next year when you buy a new computer get a flat screen monitor with it.
Sometimes you can get a super deal by buying a computer with the monitor
included! You may also save money by not having to by a nineteen inch if a
seveenteen inch works for you with adaptive software!

Not a commercial -
Compaq is presently offering half off on a flat panel monitor bundled with
their Prosario computers. A very nice seventeen inch, three types, and I
understand the same price applies to all versions! OOPS! You can't make
money like that guys at Compaq, but it is great for consumers.

P.S. I believe that some recent versions of Windows do have a screen
enhancement program included. Anyone?Duane W8DBF
