[Ham-Computers] McAfee 355593 & SP2

Opps!  Somebudy just pulled my chain.  I mentioned McAfee document 355593 in an earlier post.  355593 is applicable if the McAfee Virus Scan 8 and Personal Firewall Plus 5 IS NOT on the XP.

If those McAfee program ARE NOW ON the XP, they must be uninstalled and the machine restarted, then SP2 installed, then follow 355593 to reinstall the McAfee.

Or, maybe better yet, do nothing now and wait for a patch or further change from Microsoft to fix the SP2.
