Jim's right. With the tubes out of the sockets and the capacitors blocking
DC, I think you can test upwards of half of the resistors in the radio.
I do not have the schematics in front of me but I seem to recall there is a
low value resistor on the order of 10 to 20 ohns in the RF stage that has a
habit of going high. The one in my radio was pretty badly out of range.
