Well,
I have had 3 good sggestions and have tried all of them to see if it
would solve my problem. The relay is working just fine. I also cleaned
the heck out of it. I have replaced the 6AL5 tube and squirted plenty of
contact cleaner in the socket along with pulling the tube in and out to
eliminate any corrosion that my have been a culprit.
I am still having the problem. The relay clicks and goes back to its
standby position but the radio receiver will still have a muffled signal
occasionally until I switch the relay in and out a couple of times.
Could my "operation" switch on the HT-32 be causing a problem by chance?
I think I will try cleaning those contacts more and see if that works.
If not, is it possible it might be something in the receiver? I am using
a SX-101 Mk IIIA with the HT-32. They are hooked together being used
with a dow key relay for antenna switching. That relay seems to be
working fine as well.
Im going to keep plugging away at this thing.
Thanks-Bob-W0YBS
