David,

Please re-read paragraph 6-5 of the SX-100 Mk2 Hallicrafters manual.

While indeed it DOES say pivot, it *ALSO* says *Rotate*.

I'd give it a try with an Exacto blade. *Attempt* to *GENTLY lift the
bottom of the emblem.

---> Patience is a *MUST*!

Age and/or crud may well have it "stuck" an being a royal PIA! (Don't ask!)

It will eventually do just as it is supposed to do.

If all else fails - WALK AWAY for awhile! Then come back to it.

We *ALL* get very engrossed in what we are doing, and don't always
S-L-O-W DOWN when a glitch comes along.

Lord only knows how many times *I* have had that hard focus on a project.

You'll get it, but it will require taking a break and leave it alone.
You may need to take a day away.

*IF* the Exacto blade won't get under it, try a doctor with a disposable
scalpel.

Keep at it, with breaks as needed!
