Hello Peter (and All)

A long time since I have seen a post from you Peter. I hope all is well OM.

Question: Now Bill Halligan, Sr. and his partner Toby founded the first
Radio Shack store in the late thirties in South Boston. The name of "Radio
Shack" came from Halligan's days spent abord WW1 ships and their 'radio
room', called the radio shack.

At what point in time did Halligan, or his partner, sell Radio Shack? And to
whom?

I know that Allied Radio had it for some years and Tandy after that.
Possibly a few others mixed in among the big boys! But what happed to the
original Radio Shack after Bill or Toby disposed of it? Does anyone know the
'true' story? If so, please tell us. Thanks.
