Hi Gene,
I really enjoy looking through the catalogues. They are a really important
research aid.
They guy who did this mammoth task deserves some sort of award.
In Australia, Woolworths bought up Tandy (Radio Shack) and Dick Smith
Electronics.
The Tandy outlets were gradually closed, larger stores were converted to
Dick Smiths.
Shopping for hobbyist components in these stores is a thing of the past.
They dumped all the components several years back.
If you ask a question, all you get is blank stares.
The only tools in the store are behind the counter (normally manning the
till, Hi!)
Regards
Peter VK6PM
