Carl,

Have you looked at the HP8660C or 8660D? 10KC to 2600MC. I have seen them
for a couple hundred at hamfests. Have been advised to stay away from A
and B versions due to reliability problems with IC's. I have a couple of C
versions here now which were found for cheap I am getting ready to check out.
One has physical damage which will be a good source for parts.

Regards, Greg

Are there any decent sweep generators that cover HF down to 50kc and dont
cost an arm and a leg?

I restored and use a GR-1025A that belonged to National. Watching the
motor
drive work is mesmerizing!
