I have the HT-44/SX-117/PS-150 combination as well as an SR-150/PS-150.
They all are good performers.

Like others have said, I'd prefer 6146s to the sweep tubes. The
HT-44/SX-117 do not come with the crystals for full 10 meter band coverage -
just the 28.50-29.00 Mhz comes standard. Today, that's not longer where the
10 meter activity is found.

With the HT-44 you need an external power supply - the PS-150. The HT-32
comes with supply built in.

I've never owned the HT-32/SX-115 combo, but I did a quick manual scan and I
couldn't see where you could make them transceive. The HT-44/SX-117 is
designed for transceive operation or independent operation.

I think the HT-44/SX-117/PS-150 setup sells in the under $500 range where
the SX-115 alone is generally much more.
