[Hallicrafters] ebay SX-88 - Wow!

Ive never found a reason why the military rejected the 88. The SX-73 didnt 
fare much better except as a fill for SP-600 slow deliveries.

I like my 73 and now Im sorry I sold the 88 in 98 which was given to me in 
69 (interesting story there) and I gave it to my parents. Id love to be able 
to do a real lab shakedown test on all the high rollers.

As far as leakage Ive found no difficulty aligning or meeting spec on other 
50kc filter Hallis and doubt if the slight Q improvement of the 88 has any 
bearing.
