[Hallicrafters] SX-88 Value Controversy Continues

I certainly wasn't trying to start a flame war but I did want to hear 
peoples opinions
on the SX-88 to help determine whether or not I should take the plunge.  It 
is one thing
to spend $600 on a r-360a fixer upper but it is quite another to put down 2 
- 10 K on
an sx-88.   At this price I guess we should expect folks to be "passionate".

I thank everyone for sharing their opinion - both pro's and con's.
