Yeah Todd, but those pre 600 Super Pro's with the triode connected PP 
6F6's can blow most speaker cones loose<g> With the continuously 
variable IF control set to 16 kc its probably the best sounding of them 
all.

OTOH, one of my SX-62A's is slightly modified to drive a mid 50's RCA 
Orthophonic consoles mono PP 6V6 audio deck and built in 4 speakers. 
THAT shakes the house and I have much better options via Loudness, 
Treble, and Bass controls. After all the SX-62 series are not ham nor 
communications receivers but rather high end entertainment radios.
