I have two transmitters WITH their power supplies that need to go to North Carolina from Denver, and with a combined NET weight of 90 pounds, freight is looking better than UPS or anybody else, as we're talking about 4 individual pieces of equipment.

Tom -

I had excellent results using American Freightways a few years back to
move some antique mechanical items that wouldn't go ground. Shipper
strapped them to a pallet, and notified me when they arrived, I went
to the terminal and picked them up. Unfortunately, FedEx gobbled up
the company a couple years back, so YMMV. FedEx is fast becoming the
worst shipper in these parts, hopefully their freight does better.

Also used Yellow Freight to ship a crated Viking KW from VT to CA. It
arrived fine, but that was back in the 1987-88 timeframe. For all I
know, they could be out of business now.

Good luck, maybe you could let us know who you end up using and how it
works out, cost as well as service.
