Pack it well and send it by Greyhound. It will get lesss handling and a 
smoother ride. The only problem is that you will have to take it to the bus station 
and the receiving party will have to go to a station to pick it up. Busses 
run to many small towns and tend to have several terminals in larger cities so 
it may not be as bad as it sounds. Also, it may well be cheaper than other 
options.
