[Hallicrafters] R12 wood cabinet speaker

Hola Guido,

I wonder if the wiring was similar to that used in the R-42 Reproducer? It
too was a bass reflex configuration of sorts. However, as I recall, it had
no front or rear ports. It used a circuit with switch that muted some highs
and enhanced low midrange and bass frequency response. At least as I recall.

I did not have a receiver at that time with push/pull audio output, so the
"true" awesome response of the R-42 I could not enjoy. I had it connected to
my favorite general coverage communications receiver the SX-100.

I know that one of the multitude of wireless wizards on this list has the
answer to your question. They almost always do! Some very talented and
gifted subscribers here!

Let me know how the SX-28 sounds with the R-12 Jensen Guido.

FYI: You are the second person I know who acquired a R-12 over the past two
weeks!
