You bought a WHAT? You are expecting a detailed WHAT?
The manual is about 6 useful pages and no dial stringing is included. I have
one of those WHATS that I bought to get the early PM-23 speaker for my SX-28
as well as a SX-25 WHAT.
The manual from www.radioreprints.com has a schematic that can be read but
it needs to be blown up to be useable for us old farts.
Recapping is mandatory and its no fun in the RF section. Performance is
typical Hallicrafters. It drifts, dead on the upper band and loaded with
images. A NC-173 is a good similar year competitor for comparison and the
National blows it away and its no gem either.
