[Hallicrafters] SX-24

I have recently obtained an SX-24 from an SK estate and have 
been looking for a detailed manual for same.

I downloaded the stuff from BAMA for it, but the schematic is 
blurred, and there is no dial-cord restringing information.

I also bought a manual from a source which stated that it included 
that dial-cord restringing data. The manual turned out to be simply 
a copy of the stuff from BAMA.

So, I have a couple of questions for the group:

1) Can anyone point me to a source for a really GOOD manual for 
this reciever.

2) I would like to hear from anyone who has used one of these 
receivers concerning how well it works, other experiences, etc.
