In 1959 you could have worked the world with a regen on 15M as it was the
peak of Sunspot Cycle 19.
Even so a school pal had a new S-53A and I had a second hand HQ-129X during
that cycle. Guess who heard a heck of a lot better with both using similar
antennas?
