No SX-88 boxes here ;-) But I do remember a hamfest in the Chicago area
many years ago, there was an HRO-60 for sale. This was before I was
into boatanchor collecting, and still got hassled by the guys I was with
for spending as much time as I did looking at "that old junk" and
talking with the guys who had it for sale. It came from an estate of a
ham that was much loved and they were trying desperately to find a new
home for it - I'm sure $100 would have taken it home, maybe less.

The reason I mention it here is because not only was it in great
condition and came with the matching speaker and ALL the coil sets (I
remember them piled up in two tall stacks) - but also the original
wooden shipping crate, which had the National diamond logo wood-burned
into it!

I can't tell you how many times my rear end has hurt from the kicking I
have given myself over that one!
