Amazing, I had a similar box for the Lionel's my dad bought me in 1953 when I was a year old.
I finally wore it out as a teenager in the early 60's from carrying it around. Sure I'd like to have it for the set I still have and run once a year but the price is ridiculous...Anyway I'd rather have a set of Taylor 805's to back up the pair in my 350 watt modulator...hi hi! Merry Christmas to everyone!
