[Hallicrafters] SX-28A question on "tickler" wire.

That is a common "gimmick" capacitor that Hallicrafters used on many radios 
including the infamous S-38A thru E. The coupling from the wire to the tube 
socket provided BFO injection. When SSB came along many increased injection 
by using a small value fixed cap.
