Hi Skip,
    That is correct. The wire just wraps around there at V7 and is not 
connected except to pin 5 at V11. On my SX-28 it actually makes almost two 
wraps.

Could someone verify what I am seeing in my SX-28A but not finding on
the schematic - I see a "tickler" wire (one loop) around a connection
between pins 1 and 2 of V7 (6B8 - 2nd det. & S-meter) going to pin 5 of
V11 (6J5 - beat osc).  Thanks.
