[Hallicrafters] serial numbers & date

Check the web site www.radioblvd.com and look at an
article: "SX-28 A Pre-War Masterpiece."  You will find
in this an interesting discussion of Halli serial
numbers and dates.

If you would care to part with the serial number tag
from that SX-25 junker, I would like to have it.  The
tag on my SX-28 is badly damaged and the number on
that 25 is "in the ball park."  Removing it would be
the interesting part.  I haven't ever done this but
have some ideas.
