[Hallicrafters] serial numbers & date

I'm attempting to ascertain the approximate date of
manufacture for a SX-25 I purchased as a parts
radio.  Its serial number is H-136xxx.  Now I'll
have parts, if necessary, to restore the SX-25
from my grandparent's garage.

Some place I read that the serial numbers were
sequentially assigned to all products leaving the
factory, regardless of model number.

Chuck Dachis' book says the SX-25s were built
from 1940 to 1945.  I would like to at least know
the specific year of manufacture and possibly the
month.
