I believe you are talking about Mike Horvath W7ASF (formerly KA7ASF), 
altho,visiting his site,
(http://www.wvi.com/~jfiske/amateurradio.htm) I see he has sold his 
collection to someone (whom he doesn't name) who is setting up a museum.
Mike collected anything and everything and was a regular on the West 
Coast Swap Net on 7240 for years. He had filled several semi trailers 
with radios.
I sold him some stuff and bought my first FPM 200 from him some time in 
the early 90s for the outrageous sum of $550.00.
