 A great philosophy, indeed.  Any interest in an S36 Military? version,
 good condition, unaltered except the antenna connection. All knobs present,
 all controls work smoothly, dials intact. Missing the front ID plate.
 Untested, retrieved from an ITT (Chicago) radar researcher's estate.
 Local Chicago metro delivery only (well, say fifty miles, gas isn't 
 THAT expensive. yet.)  Valuation? Heck, I don't know, it's a classic...
 like all Hallicrafters. Oh, missing the hold-down nuts on the frontend
 erm cage? Sawr a rear connector for this model go for an asTOUNDING amount 
 on eBay once. Hmm. Buy the connector, I'll throw in the rest of it...
 (it's boxed, in the closet, otherwise I'd have the serial # handy, sorry)
