[Hallicrafters] Re: Idiot Contesters R' Us

My Hallicrafters are used for nets and contesting.
Contesting, nets and sour grapes were around a long time before I became 
a ham.
As a quasi-brotherhood we should focus on the similarities we share. 
Bandwidth!
If the new ARRL proposals become the law of the land, it wont much matter.
The unattended digital racket the proposals allow, will rain on all our 
parades.
Move forward into the 80s, onward and upward. It is after all, for our 
own good.
My father in law, 50+ years a General, still obsesses that  incentive 
licensing was the
beginning of the end. Will my Hallicrafters become old and obsolete? I 
think not.
