Mike:
I have a few junkers (HT-44), kicking around the shop. I should have
that cap. Will check tomorrow.

Subject: [Hallicrafters] HT-44 neutralizing capacitor

Hello Everyone,

I am in need of a replacement neutralizing capacitor for my HT-44 project I
am working on. It is located on a bracket between the tubes in the final
cage. C77, .8-13 pf piston type (an equivalent miniature air variable will
work). ½ of the screw driver slot has broken off the adjustment shaft on
mine (2 part guarantee) and is only adjustable with a pair of needle-nose
pliers (tricky around high voltage!). If anyone can help, please respond
off-list.

Thanks,

Mike Langston KL7CD
