[Hallicrafters] cleaning rotary switches? where's that eraser?

A new dollar bill works fairly well for burnishing relays and such.
Any eraser works well on board type contacts and other large open 
surfaces, as long as you don't rub to hard,
Many years ago I had some paperlike burnishing strips that were made for 
the purpose, not crocus paper, something similar. May still be available.
