[Hallicrafters] cleaning rotary switches? where's that eraser?

As far as using paper for a burnishing tool -- on
relays, at least -- the absolute best stuff is
teletype paper; the kind that came on rolls or was
fan-folded in boxes for the UPI and AP news machines.
Downright miraculous. It has just the right amount of
"roughness."

I'd hesitate to use it on a small rotary bandswitch
though. It's too thick and would just shred in the
stator contact.
