HI Hank, you have been missing comments on this reflector about the Black
caps.
after replacing ALL of the black things in the avc line you wll find that
things will look up.
Also the high leakage things in the plate decouplers and the screen
dropping circuit
will cause low stage gains and if you are not careful a transformer too.
Been there-done that.
