I don't have an R46B, but I've got an R-42, and it looks just like the 
HT-32 I repainted with Rustoleum  # V7777 "Satin Black" - available at 
your friendly Wal-Mart.  This is from a post on Boatanchors at theporch 
years ago.

I painted the cabinet of my HT-32 with the Satin Black and it perfectly 
matches the SX-101A it sits next to.  I also used it on an R-44 for my 
SX-71 and they also match.

The printing is a problem for me, too, on the R-44.  If you find a 
solution, please post it.
