Sounded to me that Craig's lost the filaments, no relationship to high B+,
which isn't hi in the SX-42. I'd holler at the audiophool shop, oughta be
a warrantee, but not likely to collect. Hope you didn't pay audiophool
prices.

must be careful here, definitely.
The great majority are being imported and used in guitar amps.
Even certain guitar amps have a problem with them if they run high plate
voltages. [for the guitarists, it's the Fender Deluxe Reverb that you
have to be careful with]. I can't remember off the top of my head, but
I'm thinking a B+ of 450 or more. If anyone's interested, I can find
the specific info.
