[Hallicrafters] When do you replace tubes?

I replace a tube when the equipment no longer meets
manufacturer's specification.  Most circuits are not
running a tube at anywhere near "maximum" and a tube
will keep functioning satisfactorily long after a
"tube checker" says that it cannot!

The best tube checker in the world is the unit itself.
